What began as support with paid social quickly turned into something bigger. Axfoundation needed someone to step in as an interim communications coordinator, someone who could keep every channel alive, every project visible, and every workflow in shape while they were between hires.
So I stepped in full-time for four months, taking over everything from strategy to content production to work flow improvements.
During my time as their interim communications coordinator, I managed:
• LinkedIn and Instagram, in Swedish and English
• Monthly newsletters, including content planning and production in Mailchimp
• Photo and video documentation of the projects at Torsåker farm (food, crops, events, people, you name it)
• Paid social ads to increase reach across Sweden, the Nordics, Vietnam, Germany and France
• Website content creation and updates with new articles and project information
Basically: everything needed to keep a sustainability-focused organisation both visible and understood.
Axfoundation works across sustainable food systems, materials, oceans, agriculture and circularity, which means the content is as wide as it is meaningful. I produced stories about everything from algae saving the North Sea to the now-iconic “blood brownie” made from pig blood (yes, really, and yes, you can buy it in Stockholm).
I also documented their Torsåker farm projects on-site, turning research, experiments and field work into content people actually want to read.
Beyond the daily content work, I improved workflows and systems so their incoming hire would step into a smooth set up.
